MARKETING AND BUSINESS ADVICE FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS

Why industry “norms” compromise your success (and how to escape them)…

If you look at any group of businesses, not just photographers, they will break down, roughly, into 5 categories…

1% will be hugely successful – they’re smashing it and are very wealthy…

4% are financially secure, on their way to being hugely successful, they won’t let anything get in their way…

15% are getting there, totally focused and driven, they will be financially secure soon…

60% are just getting by, not able to make the progress needed to get to that next level…

20% are struggling to make ends meet, they probably won’t be in business much longer and in all probability are looking for a job…

So, taking into account the above…

Most businesses are wrong… about everything!

Because 80% of them are either just getting by or struggling, and that wasn’t why you started your business was it?

No one ever goes into business with the ambition to just get by or struggle!

So lets take a look at the 80% who are just getting by…

They start their business, look around at what everyone else is doing… and copy that.

And if you copy what the people who are getting by or struggling do then, obviously, you are just going to get by or struggle!

If you want to build a successful business you have to be prepared to think differently to the majority of other business owners…

If you take time to study the businesses in the top 20% you’ll find that they think differently and consequently do things differently to what is considered “the norm” by the businesses in the 80%

So, to grow your business and take it to a better place than it is today…

Or if you are just starting your business – to get the foundations laid properly…

You will have to do things you haven’t done before, or do them differently.

The price you pay for not at least trying something new is that things will stay pretty much the same!

So how do you go about this?

How do you avoid the 80% who are just getting by or struggling?

Well, I’m glad you asked…

Don’t try to do it all alone!

Get a coach…

Trying to figure things out by yourself can be very costly and time consuming…

Learn from someone who has done what you want to do and achieved what you want to achieve…

Someone in the top 20%…

Success leaves clues!

Here’s a secret, don’t tell anyone…

There are no secrets…

Just information you don’t know yet!

About Me…

So, after almost 30 years of running a very successful photography studio I've decided to launch my new coaching business, allowing me to share my knowledge and expertise to help other photographers start, grow and market their own business.

During this time I've built up a huge wealth of knowledge and experience on how to successfully, and profitably, run market and grow a photography business.

Over the last 10 - 12 years in particular I've studied with, and learned from, some of the worlds best marketers, spending 10's of thousands of pounds in the process, learning testing and implementing what works best in a photography business.

All of this has taken my level of understanding of what it takes to successfully grow a business, and in particular a photography business, to a very high level indeed.

And thats why i'm perfectly positioned to help you to do this too...

I've been very fortunate to have lived the dream of running my own photography studio, I've made a very good living from it and now I help other photographers to do the same...
