With any marketing you do, you want your prospects to take action and ultimately book with you…
That means you need them to make a decision and be able to act upon it.
Any confusion about what you have to offer or how to get it means they need answers before they can take action…
A few of them will ask questions…
If you respond quickly and clearly enough you might get the booking.
If you don’t reply soon enough or add further confusion – they’re gone.
But that’s only the very small percentage who will actually bother to ask you.
The rest?
They’re out of there.
They just don’t have the time to ask you…
They’re not interested enough to bother asking…
They might not even know how or where to ask questions!
And more often than not…
They don’t want to look stupid by needing to ask the question in the first place!
And remember, in most cases, you have spent time money and effort to get all of these prospects, who are interested in what you are offering, to your page in the first place…
All for them to just leave again because you didn’t make your offer clear enough or make it easy enough for them to get in touch for more information.
It’s obvious to you…
You know exactly how your process works…
Your prospect doesn’t.
Any confusion… they’re gone.
A really good idea is to get someone not involved with your business to visit your web site and any other landing pages you have to see if it is easy enough for them to get all of the information they would need if they were a prospective customer and, is it easy enough for them to get in touch with you?
Also…
Make sure you give them more that one option to get in touch…
- A landline…
- A mobile number (offer them the option to send you a text message – lots of people don’t want to call in fear of being sold to)…
- An email address…
- A contact form.
If you have a studio where clients come to you don’t forget to have this clearly on your site as well, some prospects will just drop in for a chat but equally important it lets prospects know where you are based and how far you are from them.
You need everyone to be able to understand, very clearly, what you’re saying, what’s on offer and how to get it.
As always I hope this has been useful,
